The focus of this course is intensive laboratory work in the neurophysiology of specific systems in marine animal models to be conducted over 3 weekends at the Wrigley Marine Science Center (WMSC) on Santa Catalina Island. There will be associated lectures and other laboratory preparations conducted on the UCLA campus in support of the laboratory sessions at Wrigley.

Prerequisites:

Neuroscience 101A and 101B

UCLA sessions

Wednesday and Fridays 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. per schedule below.

WMSC sessions

Friday – Monday, October 19-22, 2012
Friday – Monday, November 9 – 12, 2012
Friday – Saturday, December 7 – 8, 2012
